What do the status badges mean?
On the domain view page you’ll find a list of status badges, like those shown below:
Each of these are explained below:
tracked
The domain is on your list of tracked domains.
churl
Churl is short for “Canonical Homepage URL”. If this badge is green it means a canonical homepage URL has been added to the domain.
- Green - a canonical homepage is configured
- Red - a canonical homepage is not configured

registrar
DOMAINSAFE (or our accredited registrar, Domain Directors Pty Ltd) is the registrar for the domain. This isn’t exact, because Domain Directors are a big organisation and we’re not their only customer.
name servers
The name servers for the domain are the Cloudflare name servers used by Dimpl, JOSH.NS.CLOUDFLARE.COM and LIA.NS.CLOUDFLARE.COM, indicating that Dimpl (or DOMAINSAFE) is managing the domain licences.
cloudflare registered
The domain has a Cloudflare Id associated.
active subscription
THe licence has an active subscription with Dimpl/DOMAINSAFE in Stripe.
verified
We have manually verified that the domain exists and works.
auto-renew
The domain licence is set to auto-renew when it expires.
redirect
Web traffic to the domain is set to redirect to another domain.
catchall
We have implemented an email catchall and redirect email to that.
crawl domain
Dimpl periodically crawls the domain as part of our research efforts.
turnstile
The domain is covered by a Cloudflare Turnstile sitekey. Normally used only for ‘forsale’ domains.
